# Services

Services represent your microservices, databases, containers, or any other resource. Adding services helps the agent understand what's relevant when investigating alerts.

## Adding Services

We support both automatic discovery and manual service creation.

### ✅ 1. Service Topology

If large portions of your infrastructure is deployed on Kubernetes, you can use our proxy service that can auto-generate the topology and interactions between your services and our agent's context.
You will find instructions on installation and how it works on the integrations page.

### 2. Via integrations

DrDroid can auto-discover services from your traces, APMs, and deployment tooling. Coverage varies by tool, but it gets you started without manual effort.

If you just want to add a few services manually and don't have it tracked anywhere, there's a UI to quickly add services.
