Alert Grouping automatically clusters related alerts into a single, actionable issue instead of leaving you to acknowledge each one individually. It reduces alert fatigue, keeps duplicate or informational alerts from burying the real signal, and routes issues to the team that owns them.

How it works

  1. Auto-created grouping — Grouping definitions and scripts are generated automatically from your incoming alerts. No setup is required to get started.
  2. Root-cause based regrouping — Alerts are collapsed and regrouped by their detected root cause, so dozens of related alerts surface as one issue.
  3. Rule-based noise suppression — Routing rules suppress known noise. This is rule-based, not AI guesswork, so behavior stays predictable.

Customize grouping behavior

You can adjust how alerts are grouped from the agent profile, without touching the underlying grouping scripts or definitions directly.

Smart routing

Route grouped notifications to a team’s Slack channel, or have DrDroid reply in the original alert’s thread.
  • Enable routing with a single toggle.
  • Test a routing rule before turning it on in production.

Mark alerts as noisy

You can also manually mark an alert as noisy to exclude it from grouping. See Noise Reduction for details.
